A connected digital experience for a nationwide banking network.
HNB needed a scalable digital communications program to serve more than 1,000 branches and five corporate offices while maintaining brand consistency and delivering relevant, localized content. The opportunity extended beyond traditional digital signage to create more responsive, informative customer experiences throughout the branch journey.
The creative program combined seasonal, regional, and national content templates, giving HNB’s marketing team the flexibility to manage and update messaging across its network. Live-data integrations brought relevant information—including weather, market indexes, mortgage rates, CDs, auto loans, and financial advisor details—directly into the experience, keeping content current, locally relevant, and on brand.
Working alongside my development team, we delivered a bespoke content management portal that allowed HNB stakeholders to configure playlists and manage creative for their specific branches and offices. The result was a flexible, centrally coordinated system that balanced corporate brand consistency with the ability to tailor communications to local audiences.
Extending the Experience Beyond the Screen.
The program also expanded digital communication into key customer touchpoints throughout the branch experience. In drive-thru lanes, sensor-triggered signage delivered timely messaging as vehicles crossed designated detection zones, creating a more responsive experience for customers waiting in line.
Inside the branch, a custom interactive kiosk gave customers the ability to request an appointment with a financial advisor and check expected wait times. Together, these solutions connected corporate communications, branch-level content management, and interactive customer service within a cohesive digital ecosystem.
From content strategy and visual design to platform workflows and interactive experiences, the project transformed digital signage from a collection of individual displays into a scalable communications platform serving HNB’s entire branch network.
